Micromax Funbook - Game Changer?

I have been using the Micromax Funbook for around 8 months now. The Funbook is a budget Android tablet launched by Micromax at a competitive price of Rs.6500. As soon as I saw the tablet, which was first released online in shopping sites, I knew I must get my hands on it ASAP. So after two months of hunting, shopping, searching and calling, I got the Funbook. And after eight months of further analysis of the product, here is what I think:

The Funbook is simply the best tablet out in the market. And not only for it's price. It beats the features of most tablets out there. I'm not going into detail about the specifications of the product because you can find that anywhere. But here are some of the features that I thought where great for the price:
  • The device comes with USB On The Go, which enables you to plug n play any type of USB device such as pen drives, SD card readers and External Hard Drives.
  • The above feature also allows you to connect any USB keyboard or mouse, which you can use with the tablet seamlessly.
  • Another interesting thing Micromax has done with this, is adding a HDMI port, which you can use to connect the tablet to any TV or even a projector which has a HDMI input. You will need a cable (Mini HDMI to HDMI) which is not included in the box to do this.
Overall - like I said - this device is one of the best, mainly because of the price, and I recommend this tablet to anyone who is new and eager to try out Android tablets!!!

Balaji!!!

It was really sad to hear that my prank calling idol BIG FM Balaji is stopping his prank show 'Cross Talk'. I found out why and hear's what happened; Two Australian Rjs prank called the nurse who was in charge of Kate Middleton, and they tricked her into telling some information which was confidential. The next day, she was called by the board of royal people, and they came to know that she had divulged this information. Only then, she came to know that this was a prank call. She dies right there out of shock. Sad huh? Yeah, but I still don't think Balaji should give up Cross Talk because of this one incident...

Exams Over!!

Yes! Exams are finally over, and in celebrationI've uploaded my first recorded prank call here! But this was not recorded using a call recorder or in a silent place, it was recorded in a seaside clubhouse, so please bear with the quality of the call because it will not be that great. Oh well, I called up this xerox shop pretending to want to print out 5000 odd pages for a 'top secret conference'. Outright cheesy idea, but there you go! :P

Guitar Lessons

Ok so guys who are really interested in playing the guitar, you can call me up and enquire because guitar classes are starting in SIFM on January. And yes, a professional guitar instructor will be teaching you guys, not me. Although, I will be starting a Youtube channel that teaches songs to play on guitar - no theory, just popular songs. Some of the first songs i'll be teaching are; Hall of Fame, Breakeven, The man who can't be moved, Love Story, Fifteen, You belong with me, Begin Again, and many others. If you want me to teach a song that you guys particularly like, just leave a comment and i'll work on it :)

Prank Calls

Today I called Sathyam Cinemas to look for tickets for my parents, and I talked in this Tanglish accent - I'm pretty sure the guy on the other end started laughing his ass off. So today I had an AWESOME idea - why not record prank calls and put in up on the blog? Because what I did was sure as hell funny for whoever was listening in. So that's that - after exams I'm starting up a prank call thing on this site. I'll just call a random number every two days, record the call and upload it! Places i'll definately be calling are Domino's, Pizza Hut, Sathyam Cinemas, and a pet shop asking for a pet crocodile or dinosaur or something :P Yeah, that'll be fun! :D

Probably my longest post... :P

When studying for exams became too boring, I had this idea of maintaining a blog. I don't know how many people are gonna read this stuff, but I thought of putting it up anyways. Just think of it as a more modern Wimpy Kid book :P The entire blog idea was taken from Barney Stinson. Its going to be LEGENDARY!

All bright ideas comes during exams, I'm sure many of you will agree with me. Last time it was the band, the time before that the game. This time, I had this idea of making guitar tutorials on Youtube. I mean, how hard could it be right? Just film myself teaching popular songs. I know how much it helped me out when I was starting out! Anyways, we'll see how that goes, for now I'm stuck in stupid school with stupid exams.

These days all I do at home is play guitar, minecraft or sleep. Aah, sleeping. Now I finally understand what Anand has been doing his whole life. It feels good, I have to say. Don't have my computer with me either, which sucks because I'm resticted to Android gaming on my tablet. Haven't played Counter-Strike:Global Offensive in MONTHS now, so Andy, if you catch up its not my fault.

Well, at least the band thing is going on well now. All the members are ready to rock and roll. All we really need to do now is get down to practice, which we havent really done yet. On well, I guess after exams, everything will start to make sense!

I think this blog thing might actually work out for me. I'll start posting game reviews, my photoshop stuff, my games, songs and all shit into this blog and see if it actually goes somewhere. For now - exams, so see you guys later!!
